Bishop Selwyn Chapel on Architecture NZ

One of our projects, Bishop Selwyn Chapel at Holy Trinity Cathedral in New Zealand, was recently featured in Architecture NZ. Designed by leading Auckland Architects, Fearon Hay, the chapel uses PanoramAH sliding doors. These enormous doors only take a few seconds to open, and because of its size, it can only be opened using a remote control.

“Our understanding of church today is very much reflected in Fearon Hay’s architecture. The whole point is ‘the doors are open, come any time’. The genius in this is that the whole wall opens but, not only are the doors open, they disappear. That’s amazing…” – Reverend Jo Kelly-Moore, ninth Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral
